There are a lot of considerations when choosing the right tour including the physical requirements. To help you better understand a tour’s physical requirements, we’ve created four activity levels: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4.
All Tours: Travelers should be able to get on and off of a coach bus at least several times a day, and walk and stand as a part of our touring. Some days may be more active than others, and if a tour is too difficult for an individual, our Tour Director will try to make accommodations for that traveler to stay with the driver, at a nearby café or other location when possible.
Level 1 Tours
For travelers who enjoy a combination of touring by bus and by foot, expect most touring to require walking and standing periods up to 3 hours at a time (up to 2 times per day) on easy terrain with some light stairs.

For travelers who want to see more at a leisurely pace, expect most included touring to require walking and standing periods up to 4 hours at a time (up to 2 times per day) with scheduled times to rest, enjoy a snack, or explore independently. Included touring may feature light hiking, and/or stairs on some hilly and/or uneven terrain.
