There are a lot of considerations when choosing the right tour including the pacing of the itinerary. To help you better understand a tour’s pacing, we’ve created five pacing levels: Leisurely, Balanced, Moderate, and Fast.
Some travelers enjoy a more relaxing tour that allows them to sleep in or go to bed early and where they only have to unpack their bags once or twice, while others prefer to maximize what they see with full days of sightseeing and travel to as many cities as they can.
Leisurely Paced Tours
For travelers looking to enjoy more time in 1-3 cities to tour at a relaxed pace with plenty of free time. Expect to enjoy half-day tours most days with a free day in most cities to explore independently. There are few to no early mornings and/or long travel days by bus (don’t worry—there are always comfort stops!), and you can expect to stay in most accommodations for 4+ nights.
