Elephant Nature Park, Amazing Thailand
Visit a space where elephants can roam freely in peace and safe from dangerous captivity. Elephant Nature Park in Thailand is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center. Home to over 100 elephants, this park has saved a number of blind, crippled, orphaned, and senior elephants from street begging, elephant riding, and circus shows. On our Amazing Thailand escorted tour, we’ll spend a full day exploring the facility which also holds additional species such as buffalos, dogs, cats, and more!
La Colmenita Children’s Project, Captivating Cuba
On our Captivating Cuba guided tour, contribute to a program that helps enrich the education of a number of Cuban children in need. Travelers can bring school supplies such as pens, pencils, and notebooks to donate to the project to support their mission of educating children and show appreciation for their hospitality. Your involvement can have a lasting impact on the educational journey of these children.
STREETS International, Highlights of Vietnam
Founded in Hoi An in 2009, STREETS International is a program that benefits disadvantaged and vulnerable youth living in poverty. The project provides young adults with culinary and hospitality training to make them self-sufficient to start a successful career in the hospitality industry. On our Highlights of Vietnam guided tour, we’ll visit the STREETS Culinary Center where the program trainees will showcase Vietnam’s noodle culture. We’ll get to sample a delicious variety of noodles and even make our own – all for the greater purpose of helping kids out of poverty.
Iraq Al-Amir Women’s Co-op, Journey Through Jordan
Founded over two decades ago, Iraq Al-Amir Women Co-Op is a women-run cooperative to help women in the Amren area learn traditional crafts and product making. The project has helped a number of women find jobs, increase their finances, and contribute to their community. On our Journey Through Jordan guided tour, we’ll visit the co-op center to see the handmade crafts and learn more about how the initiative benefits women in the area to become self-sufficient.
Nobgang B & B Community Center, Himalayan Wonders
On our Himalayan Wonders tour of Nepal and Bhutan, you can enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a great cause that gives back to the community. The Nobgang B&B Community Center is a non-profit whose focus is supporting the lives of local villagers. It is a community-owned initiative that not only preserves the historical architecture of village houses but also promotes local cuisine and creates opportunities for the members of its community.
Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, Deluxe Dubail & Abu Dhabi
The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, or SMCCU, is a non-profit that cares about educating visitors on Dubai culture and customs. The center holds immense value for the travelers who visit this destination- they offer basic Arabic classes, tours of important sites, and even guided mosque tours.
