Dina

(she/her/hers)

Tour Director in Egypt

Born in Cairo, Dina has dedicated her life to studying ancient Egypt. Dina began working as an Egyptologist in 1990 and shares her years of knowledge, experience, and passion for Egypt’s culture, history, and people with travelers.

Dina’s favorite highlights from the Splendors of Egypt tour include Edfu Temple, one of the country’s best-preserved temples; the iconic Great Pyramid of Giza; the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were buried from the 16th to 11th century BC; and the incredible Abu Simbel Temples, often regarded as one of the most beautiful sites in all of Egypt.

Travel is important to Dina because she believes it helps enhance one’s perspective of the world. Traveling, and meeting locals allows all of us to get to know the people and culture beyond the media’s lens and often allows us to dissolve the space between one another and be more accepting of each other.
