This trip was really fun and very informative. We got to visit several historical sites and took a lot of walking tours through each city we were in. With the Activity level being a 2 the days were still super packed. By the last day of the trip we were extremely exhausted. There were only a few downtimes on some days but not nearly enough free time. I wish we could have spent a little longer time at a all of the places we went. We had no personal time to explore any of the historical sites or museums. If you pay extra for the Uffizi Gallery just know that you will only partially see the top floor and then leave, and know there is a ton in this museum that gets missed. The food was excellent and all of the wine tastings and dinners we had were perfect. All of the accommodations were very nice, our favorite stay was in Florence, such a beautiful hotel. Our tour guide was amazing we enjoyed her a lot. She had a lot of information to give in every city we visited. If I had any suggestions it would be to make this trip longer without any of the extensions/add on stops. We would have loved and extra day in Florence to explore more, as well as in Venice. We only had downtime at night in Venice and would have love to have see this city more. Rome was a really cool place to visit, would love to go back to explore more since their is so much to see here and nearly not enough time to see in only a few days. All of our walking tours we had with guides were really nice, we learned a lot from them and we glad to have people from the area teach us the history. The transportation was good overall, the drivers did a nice job of getting us to and from places. Overall we had a wonderful time and will consider booking another trip in the future. This is a must do trip if you have the opportunity, despite the activity levels it was fun. Highly recommend to those who are able to be on their feet for at least 10-16 hours with standing, walking and climbing stairs on several different occasions throughout the days.

The Best of Italy tour was fantastic! Everything was planned down to the smallest detail and our guide really cared about our group and made sure everything went smoothly. We especially loved the trips off the typical tourist path like the Tuscan farm and the winery dinner. They made it so easy and I felt like we got to see and feel what Italy was really all about. I have taken other tours from other companies but this was my favorite so far. We got to see all the major attractions in every city and skip the longer lines. What a blessing! There was also plenty of time to explore on your own which we loved. Our group of 23 people really bonded during the experience which made it so much more fun, thanks to our guide Claudia. A lot of walking but very doable for us.

I took my granddaughter (20 years old) and luckily, there were other young people in our tour group. Our tour group members were all congenial and fun to be with. I had some difficulty walking with my cane and several members of the tour took me by the hand to help me walk up and down the stairs or on the cobblestone streets. It was a wonderful tour and our tour director, Claudia was great!

I would recommend this tour to anyone. We definitely got to see and experience the "highlights" of Italy. The food and wine were amazing, the scenery was stunning, and the whole experience was life changing. We cannot get over how beautiful everything was and everything we got to see on this trip. Our tour director, Claudia, was outstanding and was the cherry on top.

Very good comprehensive tour. Loved the farm and winery dinners in Tuscany/Umbria. Good food all around. Lots more walking than expected, but a bit of free time to rest up on some days. Claudia's energy and passion is amazing! We didn't get the illuminated tour of Rome by night or entertainment listed in the itinerary, but the Roman diner was still good. The Limoncello Factory was basically a shoppertunity, as the local guide started the short tour before everyone was off the bus and the staff was giving a hard sell. Sorrento was lovely and a good ending to the tour.

The Best of Italy tour was absolutely wonderful. Great itinerary, meals, local guides and ground transportation. Our Tour Director, Claudia Zeni, was fantastic. The best Tour Director we have encountered in years of travel. She is a gem! Was always there for us and truly cared about all the tour participants. Always went above and beyond. We highly recommend this tour if this is your first trip to Italy as it covers much of Italy in a short time and allows you to decide where you would like to spend more time in the future. The Amalfi Coast extension was amazing and well worth the money. For us, the only negative was the connecting flights, which was quite stressful. But otherwise, this tour was awesome and would not hesitate to recommend. Great value for your money.
