NEW Cancel for Any Reason option: In the case you have to cancel your trip, CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) would allow you to be refunded 75% of your total payments or deposits even if you cancel for a reason (any reason) outside of the standard insurance policy provided that a) your payment for this Plan is received on or before the final payment due date for your trip and b) you cancel your trip two (2) days or more before your scheduled departure date. Reporting Claims with Trip Mate
If you purchased a travel protection plan through us and believe you are eligible to submit a claim, please contact Trip Mate directly. A shelter in place has been ordered for the entire Kansas City metro region where Trip Mate is based and employees are now working from home. Therefore, please report your claims online. It is important that you give an eConsent while reporting your claim. With an eConsent, you agree to receive correspondence electronically. Unfortunately, there will be no one at the office to mail paper claim forms or other documents by USPS.

Yes. The great thing about the Cancel For Any Reason Benefit is that you do not need to disclose the reason why you are canceling your trip.
So, I can cancel my trip if my pet is sick or for any reason whatsoever and receive reimbursement for my trip cost?
Yes, you can cancel for any reason; however, you must meet two requirements to receive reimbursement.
What are the requirements to receive reimbursement?
- Your payment for Plan F394U must be received at or before the final payment due date for Your Trip;
- You must cancel Your Trip two (2) days or more before Your Scheduled Departure Date.

How much will I be reimbursed if I cancel my trip for any reason?

Can I purchase the travel protection plan after the final payment for my trip?
No. Due to insurance carrier’s regulations, the plan can only be purchased at or before the final payment.
