The Baltic Sea resort of Laboe is known far beyond its northern German borders, after all people started swimming here 100 years ago.

The beach of Laboe is about 2 km long, 50 m wide, white, soft fine sand and the riparian zones are extremely flat here. Only after about 30m the water becomes deeper than one meter and in some places you can wade almost 100m into the fjord towards the fairway.
There are several children's playgrounds on the beach. Not only the non-smoking beach directly in front of the sea water indoor pool, but also an action beach with a beach volleyball court, trampoline and electric scooters.
The promenade is lined with many restaurants, small shops and cafes. Fresh fish from the cutter is offered daily at the harbor and there are delicious, fresh fish rolls in the fish kitchen.
