My wife and I previously lived in Bali, Indonesia for 3 years and we were inspired by the beautiful culture, lush greenery, and wonderful coastline scenery. Thus, we call our homestay "Pieces of Bali Homestay." Our homestay is the perfect getaway spot for anyone who wants to visit Ottawa, but would love to retreat to somewhere calm. We're close to the Gatineau Hills, 3 golf courses, surrounding parks and bike paths, Musée de la Guerre (War Museum) Canada, Musée de l'histoire Canadian (Canadian Museum of History) and a lot more. If you are coming by car, we have free parking space in our driveway. Our place is also accessible by bus. The bus stop is only 2 minutes away from our home which runs approx. every 30 minutes. It would take only 25 minutes to go to downtown, Ottawa.
Shanti is sanskrit for "Peace." The room faces the north, so you'll get the calm view of our backyard through your window. Our homestay is the perfect getaway spot for you who want to visit Ottawa, but would love to retreat to somewhere calm and zen-like.
