Positive: I'm definitely torn whether to tell the truth about this hidden gem or keep it to myself. They fully deserve every success however, so here's the truth: We loved everything about the property, the team and the location. We had the 3 rooms for ourselves so were able to relax and chill as if at home after busy mornings working. The place is beautifully designed with all modern comforts considered. Good firm mattresses made for excellent t sleeps. Such detail and quality is rarely found in Upper Egypt and the solitude of the location was greatly appreciated. The best part however was the team under the guidance of Youssef, the host. Nothing was too much trouble, and because we were here for work, we had a lot of odd requests. They didn't bat an eye, and delivered far above expectations every single time. We will never forget the humble generosity of the team. The food is next level delicious Nubian. Homemade and full of care and love you could easily taste. One night we dined on the neighboring island and one night at a neighboring Nubian house. The location allows you to walk through an authentic Nubian cluster of homes, some dilapidated and some abandoned, but it all just adds to the beauty of the experience. A photographer's dream spot. If you are well traveled and are looking for a piece of heaven found only in nature and authentic living, then this is your place. Book the whole place for yourself to really escape from the ordinary. And Enjoy!!
