Summary: Beautiful old French farm house in the middle of nowhere.
Great if you are a minimalist looking for quaint. Not for those who want creature comforts, new linings and towels. Bring your own soap.
Breakfast was croissants , bread and a large pitcher of coffee. This was very good and included in the price.

Summary: Wonderful quaint place to stay in the countryside. Close to the park. Nicholas was a great host and recommended a good restaurant but best of all during breakfast he told us about the most amazing hike in the grand canyon. Thank you Nicholas!

Summary: Nicolas and Camille are wonderful! We had the absolute greatest experience we could have ever asked for. Unfortunately, a crazy snow storm came in on the night we arrived which made for a treacherous trip from Nice up to the property, but Nicolas called ahead and forewarned us. Then, once there, he called over to a local restaurant to confirm we could get some food. He was excellent at giving us recommendations and directions. The entire family was very welcoming and the entire experience was fantastic. We would recommend this any and all. Great location. Great people.

Summary: Rural, relaxing and very quiet. The hosts were very helpful and the room was a great place to get away too.

Summary: The owner is very pleasant, and will tell you about nearby attractions and things to do. (Note: he only speaks French.) There is a little village nearby (with a couple restaurants, only open certain days of the week). The owner will make you dinner upon request (fixed menu). Breakfast consists of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, juice, a croissant, baguette, and home-made marmelade.
Parking is easy, in front of the building. There is an outdoor eating area for summer, but we ate indoors, as it was quite chilly in Sept.
The scenery is beautiful, amongst the mountains. Hiking is available in the nearby hills, and also from Castellane (20-minute drive) and the Verdon Gorge (40-minute drive). Castellane is the nearest significant town, with gas station, tourist office (with hiking maps), restaurants, supermarket, and lots of white water rafting tour companies.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
