Positive: The Jungle Bus was the highlight of our three week holiday in Costa Rica. The bus has recently been converted into a wonderful little house for two in the jungle just south of Quepos. A 4X4 is necessary to reach the property as it's high up in the jungle, about a kilometre from the coast, but close to the gorgeous local beaches and other local amenities. The bus is split into a "living area" with a well appointed kitchen equipped with everything one could possibly need and a "sleeping area" with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The planning and execution of the conversion were obviously meticulous as all available space has been used to create a unique little house with more than enough space for two. There is a lovely balcony surrounding the bus that has views into the jungle and the beautiful garden that the hosts have planted. A wonderful space to sit, relax, eat and enjoy the diverse wildlife.
Negative: Another sign directing one to the bus could be helpful but the hosts are always available to help you with anything you need.
Summary: A fantastic and unique jungle experience with all mod cons, peace, tranquility, great views.
