Positive: Highlights: Mrs. Martens’ hospitality, the comfort of the house, and the entertainment areas. We had an amazing weekend at this house in Sittensen. From the very beginning, Mrs. Martens welcomed us warmly. We picked up the keys from a locker with a code, and later she came by to show us how to use the fire place. The house is very spacious, and even though it was winter, we stayed perfectly warm. We traveled as two families (four adults, five teenagers, and a dog), and everyone felt comfortable. The main area with the pool table and the mini foosball table was the favorite spot for the teenagers. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, including a great oven that we used often. Mrs. Martens is an outstanding host—when we forgot our dog’s leash, she kindly mailed it back to us. Such a thoughtful gesture! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the spa area due to lack of time, but both the sauna and the pool looked fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend it.
