Summary: Very authentic local area, not a tourist area, great local restaurant, close to Old Havana ($5 taxi fare). Extremely friendly and helpful host (with perfect English) took the time to show us around. Air conditioned bedroom, fully stocked kitchen and free breakfast supplied was much appreciated.
