This village chateau is hidden inside a Walled Garden, in the medieval village of Chalabre, in an area of fascinating history and oustanding natural beauty. The village has a lively art and music scene during the summer. The accommodation in this house is vast, all rooms are individually styled. A former yoga retreat centre, this house has a very special athmosphere and is well appointed.

The house is ideal for a group of up to 10 people with a great kitchen to prepare and share meals, and yet enough space to retreat and relax.
Marcel Proust is said to have visited many times, Goustav Eiffel designed a staircase by the orangery (which was sold off unfortunately in the 80s). The garden has hammocks and lounge chairs and a few shy, older house cats.
