From the refuge you can make excursions on foot, either on quieter paths that cross the Sovramonte plateau or through more demanding routes, such as the Alta Via 2 of the Belluno Dolomites Park. For adventurers, the favorable air currents of Monte Avena are the ideal starting point for flights of paragliding or hang gliding.
