The approx. 45 sqm non-smoking house, completely renovated in 2022 and equipped with insect screens on the windows, has a living room (sofa bed - extra bed for 2 people, flat screen TV, infrared heating, radio, dining area), a separate kitchen (induction hob, mini oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, various small kitchen appliances), a bedroom (double bed), a large bathroom (shower, WC, hairdryer, washing machine, electric radiator) and a large veranda with seating area. There is also a furnished terrace with beach chair, barbecue, a lockable storage room (also for bicycles) and a fenced car park belonging to the complex, and a rowing boat (with or without motor) can be hired on request for a fee.
The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels, electricity and water. To be paid on site: Fee for the boat (if desired). Pets are not allowed in this property.
The small, rural village of Kummerow is located directly on the eponymous Lake Kummerow - the fourth largest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - in the middle of the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The region is characterised by rolling hills with wonderful views and is ideal for hiking, cycling and water sports. Ship, boat and canoe trips as well as fishing trips on the lake or the neighbouring Peene are just as worthwhile as excursions to the Reuterstadt Stavenhagen, to Malchin or to the monastery and castle complex of Dargun. For the little ones, Lake Kummerow with its shallow shore and beautiful sandy beach offers plenty of play and bathing fun, and there is a small bistro at the harbour. Art lovers are invited to visit the imposing baroque Kummerow Castle - carefully restored after many years of vacancy - with its extraordinary photographic art exhibition.
