Summary: Absolutely everything was amazing about this place. From the staff who were always friendly, smiling, courteous and always on hand to assist you. The food which was absolutely amazing and the afternoon tea is definitely worth hanging around for. The accommodation (we stayed in the two-bedroom apartment) has clearly been tastefully and carefully designed in to be in keeping with the natural and local environment, whilst being modern. The Li River is a short walk from the residence and Xingping village is a sweaty 30 minute walk or they can hail you an electric ‘golf buggy’ to take you there for 20 Yuan. The latter is definitely an experience worth indulging in. And then there’s the stunning infinity pool with views of the beautiful karst mountains.
