310 km to the north from Rovaniemi, nearby Enontekiö (Hetta) municipality center, located by the lake Ounasjärvi (distance 45 m). Cabin is situated in the same yard with owner's house. The beach, lakeside sauna, cooking hut, lean-to shelter and campfire site are shared with the owner. Sand beach, lake length 12 km, width about 0,5 km.
Wooden cabin, built in 2010. Living room with 1 bed, kitchen, bedroom with 2 single beds, bedroom with folding door, sauna, washroom/WC and small open terrace.
Unlike the photo, there is 2 single beds in bedroom. Yard cabin on the other side of the house. Scenic location, mountain views, slope down to shore. Cabin is surrounded by detached houses.
The destination is ideal as a base for hiking and other activities in Tunturi Lapland. All services of Enontekiö municipality center are nearby. Skiing park Hetan Hiihtomaa (Jyppyrä, ski trail network and ski lift) 7 km, Tunturi Lapland's nature center 7 km.
Ski trail called Aurinkokeino on the lake Ounasjärvi ice during April and March. It is marked and spacious ski trail which suits well also for dogs, kicksled riders, bikers, walkers and snowshoeers. There are several benches along the ski trail. There are also two campfire sites along the ski trail; west end of the ski trail and on the island Karjalansaari.
Pallas-Ylläs National Park on the opposite side of the lake Ounasjärvi, distance is about 8 km (in summer boat trip from Hetta).
Border crossing point to Norway 40 km, Kautokeino 80 km.
