‘The Gate House’ by St Andrews measures 15 square meters and offers a unique, immaculately presented, private sanctuary for guests exploring the beautiful sights of St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife. This beautifully created, intimate space is nestled within the peaceful village of Strathkinness within 4 miles of the historical town of St Andrews.
This tiny home provides a very comfortable king sized bed, en-suite bathroom and micro kitchen. Guests will have private access to the king sized bedroom, en-suite bathroom and micro kitchen tiny home. This unique space, although intimate, is equipped with everything you might need for a peaceful short or long stay in the beautiful Fife countryside.
The kitchen provides a microwave-oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, belfast sink with plates, bowls, cutlery and wine glasses. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided and any special requests we always do our best to fulfil. Foldable chairs and small dining table can be neatly tucked away.
The en-suite has a spacious electric shower, large counter top sink with water fall tap and a tall electric heated towel rail. In the bedroom there is wall mounted oil filled wifi enabled radiator and electric black out blinds to ensure you are kept warm, cosy and comfortable throughout your stay. There are two large yet discreet under-bed storage drawers with clothes hangers that slide out easily for clothes storage and some hanging hooks on the walls for coats/dresses etc.
Guests have their own entrance door with a key safe box to allow them to check in and out at their leisure. The Gate House is just across the driveway from our main house as shown in the photos so anything you might need can be quickly catered for.
Guests will also have private use of their own patio right outside the front door to sit and enjoy the outdoors.
For getting out and about the are bus routes about 150 yards from the property with free on street parking right next to the accommodation.
Whilst there aren’t shops in the village of Strathkinness St Andrews or Guardbridge are a quick 5 minute drive away.
