Summary: Fantastic place to stay, with a wonderful view over the Duoro River from our room and the dining and sitting rooms. Attentive and friendly waitstaff at dinner (suggested wines to pair with each course) and breakfasts. Hiked up the hill to even better views on their vineyard roads, drove to Pinhão for the 2-hr boat cruise to Tua, a Miradouro and wine tasting above Pinhão, also close to Sandeman’s Quinta do Seixo for old tawny tasting and to Quinta do Tedo for Bistro Terrace dinner.
