Summary: Welcoming start at reception. Requested extra pillows, handed them at the reception desk. Told we could not eat in hotel because of staffing issues and we had not made a reservation. Bar closed at 9pm due to staffing issues. Thrown out of the lounge at 10pm due to staffing issues. English not widely spoken even though Hotels.com said it was. Beds uncomfortable and very noisy outside our room from cycling guests. Most restaurants in local area closed for holidays or had a very limited menu. Area too quiet for tourists.
