A quaint, clean 100% smoke-free property with beautiful ocean views available as a short-term vacation rental to responsible adults looking for a nice place to stay while taking in all that Ketchikan and southeast Alaska has to offer. Explorers Cottage is on our property (separate, not connected), yet you will still have the privacy of having your own place. Enjoy the comforts of your own home away from home.
Located north of town and is 10 minutes from Wal-Mart (easy shopping), close proximity to Clover Pass, Knudson Cove (boat rentals, charters, etc...) and Settlers Cove (hiking, photography, etc..). Also, just a few steps away from your front door is the beach cove perfect for kayaking, bonfires, photography, and seashell collecting.
To make your stay comfortable, the cottage has a pillow-top queen size bed, gas fireplace, heat and cool air unit, and a great kitchen with basic items to get you started. Also, enjoy the seasonal herb greenhouse, rain shower-head/stone shower, laundry room on site (outside basement entry), and the essentials you need to feel right at home.
After perusing all that Ketchikan has to offer, relax on the ocean view deck and unwind at the end of your day. We also provide a selection of movies/dvd's, basic cable, books, and games for your entertainment pleasure. A Bible is available for those who like to start out their day with quiet time with God.
