2 Bedroom House in Carro, Castello
The house is located in the picturesque Ligurian village of Castello and is ideal for families with children and for holidays with friends. We renovated the house in 2011, maintaining the typical style of the valley, but adding all the comforts (washing machine, oven and microwave, TV). The WIFI network is available by paying 15 euros per check in (service duration: one week). Please advise me before your stay if you want to use them or it will not work because the service is to be activated !!
The house is on three floors, with two terraces and a balcony: two with a view of the valley, the third just in front of the main entrance. They are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just to sit and relax.
The main floor consists of a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom with a half-bath, a balcony with superb views of the valley. The living room sofa turns into a double bed.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. One of the two has a double bed and has a mezzanine (very suitable for children: ours love it!) with two other single beds. In the other is a double bed. The second terrace is at this level and dominates the valley. In this floor there is also a bathroom with shower.
A large tavern with two tables is located in the basement, perfect for dinners with friends.
Castello is a very suggestive town, typical of this area in the beautiful Val di Vara on the Ligurian hills. The main road is closed to traffic during the summer and is pedestrian only.
It is the ideal place to visit the surroundings, explore Ligurian paths or simply go to the sea.
The best way to reach Castello is to use the motorway (Carrodano exit).
The house is located in the Val di Vara which is home to beautiful medieval villages, including Varese Ligure (famous for its organic food), Carro and Brugnato.
In any case, you can easily reach the sea choosing between the 5 Terre, Tigullio with Portofino and Sestri Levante, the Gulf of Poets with Lerici and Porto Venere
