Little Egret is centrally situated, just a stone’s throw from Milford’s village green. This bright & airy apartment, (in a modern building of just 4 flats) is fully equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing and comfortable stay, and offers free private parking, plus guests have access to a lockable bike shed adjacent to your parking space at the rear of the property.
Walks can be enjoyed directly from the apartment – (just a short walk to the sea) and with a varied choice of woodland & coastal strolls taking in the beautiful views across to the Isle of Wight. The local harbour at Keyhaven, (an easy 10-15 min walk from Little Egret), is a great place for a walk along the sea path by the salt marshes to spot all the different birdlife that this coastal area attracts all year round.
Ferries from Keyhaven (April – October) can take you across to Hurst Castle (or it’s a very pleasant 45 minute walk there along the shingle spit) – and the regular ferries from Lymington operate all year round over to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.
In the village itself, you are spoilt for choice with a range of welcoming restaurants, pubs and tea-rooms. Traditional independent shops are situated around the Green, and we also have a couple of beauty/hair salons for that little bit of holiday pampering!
The popular Village Community Centre in Milford offers a wide range of live performances, films and activities. A great venue for both locals and visitors alike.
