Escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy the ultimate lakefront experience at this large, luxury home on public side of Lake Anna! This immaculate waterfront home is large enough for the extended family and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, less than a mile from Duke's Creek Marina, close to restaurants, and near Lake Anna State Park. The water is 8-10’ off the dock; Cocktail Cove and beach volleyball are short trips away; water is calm enough for standup paddle boarding; wide open access to main lake for tubing and water skiing.
The home has a huge boat house, including a covered dining area with a TV and an uncovered sundeck where you can easily work on your tan after a refreshing dip in the lake's sparkling waters. Bring your own boat and dock it at the boathouse – boat launch at Duke’s Creek Marina less than a mile away. Other fantastic outdoor perks include a small natural sand beach that allows for wade-in, at-grade access to the lake (perfect for children), stand-up paddleboards, canoe, kayak, plenty of life vests, a firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a basketball court in the driveway, a huge back deck with dining furniture, and a covered seating area overlooking the lake with a ceiling fan for balmy days.
This marvelous retreat has nearly 5,500 square feet of space thoughtfully distributed across three well-appointed levels. Upon entering this exquisite home, you'll first notice the elegant vaulted ceilings in the great room and wall-to-wall windows that let in natural sunlight. This is the ultimate gathering spot when it's time to unwind and relax after an exciting day on the water or playing games. Curl up on the spacious sofa and watch a favorite show or movie on the large smart TV.
When mealtime comes, gather in the gourmet kitchen with six-burner gas cooktop and griddle, two wall ovens, a microwave, two dishwashers, granite countertops, a wet/coffee bar, and a laundry room with a washer/dryer and utility sink. The island seats 6 and the table seats 10 (though we always seem to squeeze in a few more!). On the first level, there is a king bedroom, a smart TV, and large bath suite. The first level also has an office/bedroom with day bed. Great place for catching up on emails or for someone that wants a bedroom with a little extra solitude.
On the second level, there is a lofted living area that overlooks the great room. This terrific spot boasts a wet bar, inviting sofas, a gaming table featuring a pop-up lazy Susan for dealing cards, a chessboard, and smart TV. There are four additional bedrooms on this level, including the second king bedroom with smart TV and bath suite, jack and jill queen rooms that share a bath, and the bunk room with 6 twin beds and a full hall bath. And last, but definitely not least, is the game room. Located on the third level, this recreation area is perfect for entertaining everyone - kids and kids at heart! It features a pool table, a foosball table, an air hockey table, a karaoke machine, a gigantic smart TV, and an inviting seating area.
