Come vacation at the Cypress Point Estate on Lake Murvaul. Our house is directly on the water. Lake Murvaul is ideal for swimming, fishing (bass, catfish, crappy), canoeing, paddle-boarding, wake-boarding, waterskiing, tubing, wake-surfing etc.
We have a small jon boat with electric trolling motor you can use as well as a canoe or paddle board. Or feel free to bring your own boat or rent a boat on Boatsetter. Our dock is 1/4 mile from Tinkle Park boat launch and 2 miles from Davis Grocery which sells gas. Carthage is a charming small town with traditional Texas town square. It has all that you need: restaurants, hardware stores, grocery stores, shops etc.

CYPRESS POINT has a classic, traditional feel with the ease and comfort for modern family life. The house has wood floors throughout, comfortable furnishings with clean lines, luxurious bedrooms, a large open kitchen and dining space and an old-time screened in porch complete with porch swing, and unobstructed lake views throughout the house.
UPSTAIRS LAYOUT consists of four bedrooms (2 master; 2 guest) and two full bathrooms, one with tub and one with shower.
DOWNSTAIRS LAYOUT centers around our large, lake-facing, kitchen-dining area with french doors to the veranda. The living room is adjacent to the dining room and contains two comfortable sofas a game table, and a wood-burning fireplace. There's also a full bath with claw-foot tub and an old-fashioned screened in porch with a day bed and trundle.
OUTSIDE there are wrap around porches, a dock where you can swim and/or dock a boat, two hammocks, a canoe, a paddle board, and a manicured lawn all the way down to the point.
OTHER AMENITIES include a small jon boat with electric motor, a pool table, a game table, wifi, a large-screen tv, a stereo, a games closet, a wood-burning fireplace, multiple porch swings, rafts, lawn furniture, children's life jackets, adult life jackets, fish fryer, gas grill (connected to main house gas line) a high chair, a crib, fresh linens in the bathrooms and bedrooms and a large bottle-water cooler.
