Summary: Great location, but not quite a four-star experience The hotel has an excellent central location, very close to Ostrów Tumski, Hala Targowa and tram stops, with the Old Town and Rynek only about a five-minute walk away. Our twin room was very spacious, with plenty of storage, and the bathroom was also a good size. It was cleaned daily, towels were changed regularly, and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. The hotel was clean, smelled pleasant, and the reception staff were extremely polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the twin beds were extremely narrow and uncomfortable. My husband had to be very careful not to fall off the bed during the night. For a four-star hotel, the amenities were also disappointing. The bathroom only provided combined shower gel/shampoo, hand soap and shower caps. There was no body lotion or other basic toiletries. There was also no iron or ironing board in the room — we had to request one. The door couldn't be properly locked from inside, which would be concerning for a solo traveller, and the curtains weren't blackout, letting in quite a lot of morning light. There is no gym or spa, only a sauna. Breakfast was average rather than luxurious, with a somewhat limited choice of bread, sweet and healthier options. Overall, a clean hotel with a fantastic location and lovely reception staff, but several details could be improved to meet four-star expectations.
