Offering a true slice of paradise, this home comes complete with a private pool and furnished outdoor areas that are sure to be the centerpiece for endless sun-soaked fun. Originally built in 1925, the cottage has been lovingly maintained and updated for contemporary comfort while still preserving its vintage appeal with features including original wood floors, a Florida Room, and a clawfoot tub. The bathrooms have been recently updated and other modern additions include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. Enjoying a distinction as one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, Gillespie Park is conveniently located on the north side of downtown, within walking distance of Main Street and just a short drive from Marina Jacks/Bayfront Park, St. Armands Circle, and your choice of great beaches. You'll also be within an easy drive of the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and cultural attractions like Ca d'Zan and the Ringling Art Museum.
