Positive: The EuroParcs is conveniently located - 15 min by car to Alkmaar, 25 minutes to the beach and under an hour to Amsterdam. The area around is beautifully green, there is a small lake, achievable by a short bike ride. Bikes can also be rented at Europarcs. The property is a full chalet - we had one with 2 bedrooms. The chalet is not big, but comfortable. Everything was clean.

Negative: It was our first time in a camping site like this, so we were not prepared that there was e.g. no handsoap, and no towels included. Towels can be rented for an additional price. The couch in the chalet was not very comfortable.

Summary: A good base to explore the area, by car and by bike
