The metro Bastille is at 3 minutes by walk (line 1 - direct to the Marais, Louvre, Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, Place de l'Etoile, Defense - and line 8 - direct to the Opera Garnier, Lafayette Gallery and Printemps Department Stores, Place de la Madeleine, Invalides ...). The train station Gare de Lyon is only at 16 minutes by walk. You can also find there the automatic line 14 that will lead you in the heart of Paris. Nearby the flat, you will find many buses stations as well as Vélib bike stations (to rent a bike).
