*** It has come to my attention that VRBO shows us as 6 to 8 miles from Cades Cove. This is not my doing! It's not necessarily untrue; you can hike there in 8 miles. But if you prefer the comfort of driving in a car, it will take you closer to 45 minutes. You must travel through the mountain pass to get there.**
Soak up the modern charm of this fully remodeled vintage A-frame home. All the amenities you would expect with a rustic woodsy feel.
We can't get enough of this space! It's a true tiny home at under 400 sf, but wow, it feels airy and open. The bathroom can compete with homes twice the size. The full and efficient kitchen is stocked with all you need to prepare a great meal. The loft, although TINY, boasts a 14" memory foam mattress. It's cozy and comfortable!
Sit on the quiet deck or by the fire pit in the yard.
Walk 500' to our private lake lot and enjoy our kayaks and paddleboards ($25). No motors allowed on our private lake, making it very peaceful and relaxing.
The lake is private, homeowners and guests only, no motors allowed.
You have the entire A-frame to yourself. Additionally, we provide you with private lake access from our dock a short walk (500 ft) from the Cottage. We have kayaks and/or paddleboards available upon request *$25. You may also use the community beach area and basketball court - with my membership card (follow rules). There are several hiking trails right out the door. Cycling is popular in the area.
Other things to note:
This is a real getaway, no fast food, cable tv, pizza delivery, or outlet malls. This is the way our family does vacations and we know others do too! There is not a landline! Check your cell service for coverage in the area. U.S. Cellular works best.
We handle all aspects of our homes. It is our intent to provide you with the best hospitality. Should you need us, we are just around the corner. We love meeting our guests and many leave as friends. That said, we also honor your privacy.
We are pet friendly but you must disclose your pet! No puppies!! No cats!!
