HOW TO GET THERE?
By AIRPLANE:
One airline travel between Panama City (Albrook Airport) and Bocas del Toro. The airline serving Bocas del Toro is Air Panama.
By CAR:
Panamerican Highway up to the entrance to Gualaca (404 Km). Turn to the right and go to the end of the road to Chiriqui Grande (98 Km) and then, at Punta Peña, to the left, the road to Almirante (68 km), where you can leave the car in a parking lot. Roads are paved, in good condition. Beautiful views in the mountains.
By BUS:
Take the bus to Almirante in the Panama Albrook terminal. It takes about 10 hours to reach Almirante ($ 28).
By CAR or by BUS:
At Almirante take a marine taxi ( Bocas Marine Tours)to Bocas del Toro ($4 - 30 min) or a ferry boat (2 hrs). The ferry boat Almirante/Bocas del Toro only runs from Tuesdays to Sundays.
