Cannich is a pretty and friendly Highland village that provides easy and direct access into the beautiful Glen Affric National Nature Reserve, and is a perfect location for walking, cycling, fishing and touring the area, there's also a golf course within 5 miles and pony trekking available nearby. The village offers good local services including a grocery shop/Post Office and a pub serving food, and close by the villages of Beauly and Drumnadrochit provide enhanced services. Glen Affric is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and has the largest area of Caledonian pine forest in Britain. Loch Ness and its famous monster are a short drive away and the vibrant city of Inverness is well worth a visit.
