Moreover, you can visit the old castle or go for a glider trip to explore the surroundings including the old lighthouse you might still recognize from the old 250 guilder note. Also, the well-known family park Deltapark Neeltje Jans is worth a visit. Here, you can discover the history of the Deltaworks and learn more about different sea animals like sea lions and sharks. The beautiful, vast and broad beaches and the multi-faceted forest- and dune area offer you great possibilities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking or horse riding.
