Mas Athos is a spacious family home with the style and feel of a rustic but very comfortably furnished country house. Downstairs, the kitchen/dining room and living room with vaulted ceilings open onto a shady terrace, perfect for outdoor living. On the first and second floors are four large double bedrooms (the upper two with air-conditioning) and four bathrooms. The mature and shady garden includes a 10mx5m swimming pool (salt filter) & boules court. Perfect for families and groups of friends.
The property
A former silkworm farm dating from 1830, the house was beautifully restored by an artist, who has left little motifs and original works of art throughout. For the cooler months, the house has central heating, there are fires in both ground floor rooms, board games, and lots of books - a perfect place to spend Christmas or New Year. The mature garden includes some ancient mulberry trees that used to feed the silkworms, and offers cool and shade during the summer. The house is our second home and is well-equipped with all you need for unforgettable holidays with friends and family.

Secure parking for two cars behind an electronic gate. Ten minutes walk into the centre of Uzès. Our house manager Madeleine will welcome you. She lives in Uzès and is available 7 days a week to answer your questions and provide assistance if needed. From late May to the end of September, we only accept reservations in 7-night blocks, Saturday to Saturday. We are flexible outside of this period - please contact us to discuss your dates. The swimming pool, which is not heated, but has a solar cover, is open from early April to mid-October. There is a small additional charge for any guests above 8. Check-in is normally from 4-6pm, but can be later if agreed with our house manager. We offer a key-safe check-in option for late arrivals. Check-out is by 10am in order to allow sufficient time to prepare thoroughly the property for the next guests.
