Summary: Batonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. The staff were incredibly attentive and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The food was great and the rooms were clean and spacious. There was a shuttle bus to town but you could also walk into town or if prefer the lodge would arrange a taxi. They would give you the details of the taxi company so if you needed a taxi back, you could get the restaurant to book the same company. One morning elephants were outside the lodge. Five stars from me and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Lloyd and the team for a great stay.
