Welcome to Baker's Bayou, named for our family and the bayous in the area. Everything in the cabin is brand new and newly renovated. From spending time enjoying a beautiful view of the lake from the living room, two bedrooms and our screened in patio to catching fish just steps outside the front patio door, it truly is a retreat getaway from the distractions of everyday life.
Outdoors is a delight for all ages; from fishing, playing corn hole and swimming in the lake, to relaxing and having a wonderful meal while in the screened in patio enjoying the lake view! By night, enjoy the outdoors fishing from the pier or next to the fire pit as you unwind and share good times and s’mores!
Without a doubt, our place is a special treat for fisherman. Lake D'Arbonne has become a popular destination for some of the most desirable fishing and tournaments in the US. We are also only 2 miles from the nearest boat ramp which is off of Hwy 2 just before you turn on Scott's Hideaway Road.
Please note that there may be bugs and other insects and animals because we are located right on the lake. Please bring bug spray and keep a watch out for insects, etc. A few bugs may make their way indoors so just be mindful.
