The newest guesthouse in Broek op Langedijk is situated in the former etching studio and the edit-studio overlooking the Havenplein. Transformed into a wonderful location to unwind. Private entrance, separate from our house, very comfortable living room, bedroom and spacious bathroom. Highly recommended, everything is new. Breakfast is also possible. For €7.50 you have a delicious breakfast.
The place is fully furnished with a induction stove as pots and pans!
Centrally located in the province of North Holland, Broek op Langedijk is easily accessible by private or public transport. A lovely location to Alkmaar (cheese market) to view, to go to the beach, to walk (from the B & B) are 3 pole routes, nature Geestmerambacht is a must, bike rental at the bike shop opposite our house. Make a sole-excursion, or with a whisper-boat through the 1000 island kingdom. In Koedijk there is a windmill that you can visit. One of the possibilities is to bring and pick up for example at the four-day walking tour of Alkmaar, or the winter walks around egmond and Castricum. Also upon arrival by public transport you may be asked to be picked up from the railway station Alkmaar or Heerhugowaard.
@Hans&Griet wants to make your stay a comfortable experience. The living room is equipped with comfortable chairs and a sofa, which can be folded out into a sofa bed. A table with 4 chairs. Art on the wall. The kitchen unit has a refrigerator, hot and cold water, drawers with plates, cutlery and a frying pan, and 2 pans. There is an induction cooker. Coffee and tea can be made yourself. A lovely spacious bed 180x200 in the separate bedroom, adjacent to a large new bathroom. Weather permitting, the requested breakfast is also available on the sheltered patio. The large roof terrace is a wonderful place to sit in spring. The B&B is completely new, it used to be Gerda's graphics studio and Hans' editing studio, we moved our workplaces. The B&B is suitable for 2 to 4 persons, there is a cot and a high chair where needed.
We are of course present on arrival, at least that's what we try to do as well as possible, we are also reachable. There is a key cabinet at the entrance door for an eventual emergency. All info in a folder in our Hans en Griethuis, also a book to leave a story behind, please, because we like that. Also at departure we will be present and possibly help with the transport.
The Havenplein in Broek op Langedijk will be a Christmas tree party from 5 Dec onwards. The lawn will become a point of sale in a beautiful way. The shopping center is within walking distance, the Broekerveiling, the museum worth a visit. The bus stops opposite our house, Alkmaar is a beautiful city to visit. The walking routes start at the lawn near the B & B. There are several restaurants nearby.
If you do not come by own transport, take the train to Alkmaar or Heerhugowaard, we will pick you up.
