Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We really liked the Location of the B&B, as well as the interior decor. The rooms are tasteful and modern, mixed with the historic elements of the old town building. The Staff were very helpful, wether it was over text or in person (when we had trouble finding the right entrance to our room). The B&B is perfectly situated in the town centre and it has a beautiful courtyard. It is also very close to the public parking area, in case one is arriving by car.

Negative: We were a little surprised in regards to the breakfast, because upon arrival, we were informed that the breakfast was actually not included in the price for the B&B. We found this a bit odd, since we paid for a “Bed and Breakfast” and thought the prepaid price would include both parts. But it wasn’t that big of an annoyance, since we got to have breakfast at a local Hotel at the Riva and we also got a discount for both days that we stayed. It was just a bit confusing (but it could also be that we didn’t catch that information while booking). Since the townhouse is historic and made of stone and wood, it can get a little cold during the nights if you visit during wintermonths (although there are two heating pannels which can be operated by guests). But i’m sure the staff would have provided us with an extra blanket if we would have asked. It might just be personal preference.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and would book again / recommend it to friends and family.
