Welcome to the peaceful mountains of Adjuntas, where you will find authentic coffee Haciendas. You will experience an amazing climate with temperatures averaging 60's°-80's° Fahrenheit year-round. This is due to the high altitude and pure nature that you will be surrounded by. You will have the most amazing time with an endless breeze on our porch swing or picnic table under the Flamboyant and Almond trees. You will get to experience staying in an authentic Puerto Rican home on the country.
The space
You will get an amazing view of the mountains and the coffee fields along with a continuous breeze. It usually rains for about a half an hour during midday but then the skies clear up as if it never rained. The roof is covered with zinc panels which provide the most relaxing sound you have ever heard during the rain. If you get lucky, you will get to experience the most amazing fog you have ever seen. It is a truly magical sight. The home is not equipped with air conditioning due to the great temperatures year round. We actually recommend WARM CLOTHING for the winter time as the temperatures can drop at night. We have fans if need be. You can also feel free to open all the windows, as they all have screens which prevent any bugs from coming in. DO NOT open the glass windows on front of the house as they are malfunctioning. You can definitely open up the curtains on the glass windows for a great view of the coffee fields. Please close all windows when leaving the property. The temperature drops at night which is perfect for sleeping. You will hear the beautiful coquí frogs singing you to sleep. Please check out the manual with numerous recommendations of attractions and great places to eat. You will be in one of the safest areas in all of Puerto Rico.
Guest access
You are free to be in the entire property. Please remain away from the property next door as it was in construction and is fenced off. Also remain from the back of the house, as there are many water pipes that can break if stepped on or messed with.
Other things to note
The entire island of Puerto Rico has been experiencing power and water outages from time to time. Please be aware that this is not super common but it is a possibility. However, we prepared as best we could for any times as such. The home is equipped with solar lighting on the outdoor areas. The lights inside the home all have a battery which will allow the bulbs to remain on even if the power is out. I will also have handheld solar lights. The home is also equipped with two large water tanks that are hooked up to the house. If the water goes out, message me and we will quickly turn on the reserve water for you. Do not drink the reserve water. The home is equipped with security cameras on the exterior. There is one camera on the front door, two on the left side of the home, and one on the right side.
This 2 Bedrooms Cabin provides accommodation with Bedding/Linens, Child Friendly, Kitchen, for your convenience. This Cabin features many amenities for guests who want to stay for a few days, a weekend or probably a longer vacation with family, friends or group.
