This small-scale holiday park is located in Vaassen, in the middle of the Veluwe. From the holiday park you can follow various cycling and walking routes, which will lead you through the Veluwe forests and famous heath lands. Only 1.1km away from the park is Zwembad de Koekoek. This pool was voted the best pool in the Netherlands in 2014. Also in the further vicinity is plenty to do and experience. For example, Paleis het Loo, Kasteel Cannenburgh and De Veluwse Bron. The cities of Apeldoorn and Deventer are also well worth a visit. A day out with the children? A number of fun outings such as the Apenheul, Dolfinarium, Julianatoren and Klimbos Veluwe are in the vicinity. Don't feel like cooking after a day out? Vaassen is a village situated in the municipality of Epe in the middle of De Hoge Veluwe National Park. This is a beautiful area with deciduous and coniferous forests, heathland and wild sand drifts and is therefore very suitable for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity who like to go on endless bicycle and walking tours. Another big crowd puller is Cannenburch Castle. Here you will find a park forest and ponds that are also great for walking. Vaassen has a museum, a number of good restaurants and a nice range of shops. For a day out, visit recreational lake Kievitsveld, De Apenheul or one of the large cities Zwolle, Apeldoorn and Deventer.
