This holiday village with an indoor pool is located right on the IJsselmeer, 4 km outside Andijk, in the historic triangle of Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik. The old Dutch villages of Edam, Marken, Volendam or Monnickendam, the city of Alkmaar, with its famous cheese market, the North Sea beach, for example, in Egmond or Bergen aan Zee and the world famous Amsterdam are located within a radius of about 40 km. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking or cycling tours. In the immediate vicinity of the park, there is a kilometre-long paved hiking path, over the bank and a sandy beach. The beach offers a swimming facility (1.2 km), sailing, canoe and boat rentals (around 800 metres) and sufficient opportunities for fishing. The park offers a variety of leisure facilities, including two all-weather tennis courts (open from April to October), bowling alleys and a zoo with ponies, on which you can try horse riding during school break (April to October). Between 1st November and 1st April, the supermarket and the bicycle and pedal car rentals are closed, and the taverns are open only to a limited extent. During school holidays from April to October, activities and entertainment are offered. There are several fishing ponds, where you can go angling without a fishing permit. During your stay at the holiday village, you will never be bored.
