Oban, a small bustling fishing town with an array of shops, bars and restaurants is only a ½-hour drive. From here, take a short ferry trip to Mull, Staffa or Iona, all with an abundance of wildlife. Visit Bonawe Iron Works, Cruachan Hollow Mountain, Oban Distillery, Inveraray Jail, or the Sea Life Centre. Glencoe and Fort William are easily accessible and offer walking, mountain biking, climbing and skiing.
