Chareside Cottage is charming, two-storey, 19th-century cottage situated on one of the main streets in the heart of the historic, pretty village of Corbridge, Northumberland, 16 miles west of Newcastle, and along the scenic banks of the River Tyne. The cottage has been renovated and blends very stylish yet comfortable accommodation with contemporary services and attractive architectural features.
Ideal for couples or a small family, the living room features a period-style fireplace, gas fire and a rug on the wooden floor, whilst the spacious, light dining room has a table for four guests and a paned door leading onto the rear courtyard. A real surprise upstairs is the small verandah accessed from the master bedroom with lovely views of the River Tyne, so when the weather is fine you can relax and enjoy the view. The family bathroom has tongue and grooved panelling, a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
