Our favorite thing about this condo is the awesome location! In the center of Summit County, Colorado, Chateau Claire is away from the crowds and hustle of the ski resorts but only a few minutes away from the finest winter and summer sports in the country. Chateau Claire at Lake Dillon is located right on Lake Dillon, North America's highest deep water marina and one of the most beautiful views in the county.

The reservoir is a center of attraction for the area. During the winter months, ice fishing and snowmobiling are common activities. During ski season, thousands of people flock to the Dillon Reservoir area. Dillon Reservoir is close to four ski-resorts. Arapahoe Basin is medium-sized resort that is approximately ten miles from the lake. Keystone Ski Resort is a large tourist destination that is located approximately five miles away. Breckenridge, which is one of the largest ski resorts in Colorado, is located approximately seven miles from Dillon Reservoir. Copper Mountain is located approximately eight miles from Dillon Reservoir. And, you're just a quick drive over to Vail or Beaver Creek, if the snow decides to dump on our sister Vail resort ski areas.

During winter months, there is a free shuttle ride to the Keystone slopes, with pickup right across the street. And, with improved snow-making, Keystone offers the opportunity to be one of the first ones's to enjoy the slopes each season, with expected opening dates in early to mid October.

For warmer months, enjoy sailing, cycling, fishing, kayaking, hiking, Dillon Amphitheater concerts, Farmer's market and more - giving you the best of summer activities in the heart of the Rocky Mountains - all walking distance from your condo. The towns of Dillon and Frisco each have marinas on the reservoir. The Dillon Marina is open and hundreds of sailboats can be seen docked or sailing. Dillon Marina hosts many weekend racing regattas and also provides sailboats for rent. The Dillon Yacht Club is based out of the Dillon Marina and also hosts many sailing events. Dillon Reservoir is stocked every year with 50,000 rainbow trout by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. All of the small mountain towns have abundant festivals in the summer as well,

Dillon Reservoir has a popular 18 mile paved bike path that winds around the entire reservoir. The path can be accessed at any point around the reservoir. Starting in Frisco and going clockwise, it goes behind the Summit Middle School, marshlands, and continues across the Dam road. It passes the towns of Silverthorne and Dillon. Once into Summit Cove subdivision, the path climbs over Swan Mountain and reaches its highest elevation of 9,500' above sea level at the top at Sapphire Point, which is 1,100' above the lowest point of the bike path. This is a popular lookout over Dillon Reservoir and much of Summit County.

Renter MUST be 22 years of age and present during stay.

Occupancy and stated number of vehicles is strictly enforced by HOAs, City and County. Additional vehicles may be towed at vehicle owner's expense.

Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times.

No smoking/no pets.

Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood. No parties, events or smoking of any kind. Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning.
