Layout
This wellness bungalow is linked and offers space for eight people. In the living room you will find a sitting area with a flat screen television. Towards the open kitchen you will find a dining area with a table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, combination microwave, induction hob and a filter coffee maker. There are two bedrooms and a shower room on the ground floor. There are two more bedrooms on the top floor. All bedrooms have two single box-spring beds. There is a luxurious bathroom with rain shower, sun shower, sink and toilet. There is a separate toilet in the hall downstairs. Outside is a veranda with patio furniture and a Whirlpool. Here you can enjoy the beautiful, unobstructed view of the countryside and the water. Outside you also have a private deck. The property has two parking spaces, extra cars can be placed in the central car park.

Recreation park Tusken de Marren is located on the water. Many homes have their own jetty. Opposite the park is a marina, where you can use the boat ramp and boat crane (for a fee).
Rental boats
Tusken de Marren offers the possibility to rent a sloop or a whaly (limited number available). These can be built at your holiday home, unless you have booked a home that is not adjacent to the water.
Do you feel like swimming? With wonderful summer weather you can visit the Sneekermeer and when the weather does not allow it, a visit to the swimming pool in Joure is a perfect alternative. The children can also play in the playground with an air-trampoline, beach volleyball court, swings and a table tennis table. There is also an animation team present during the summer period. On Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, various water activities are organized, games are played ashore and of course there is also a lot of crafts! A stay at Recreation Park Tusken de Marren is ideal for real fishing enthusiasts. At a house on the water you can catch good fishing from your own jetty and enjoy the water view.

Akkrum is located in the heart of Friesland and is partly for that reason the perfect place to discover the beautiful province. From here, a day of shopping in Leeuwarden, Sneek or Heerenveen is an option, but a nice lunch on the terrace in the center of Akkrum is also among the possibilities. Also travel to the picturesque village of Terherne: the Kameleon village, based on the famous book series and film De schippers van de Kameleon. If you enjoy being on the water, there are many opportunities for boat rentals here and in the surrounding area. In addition, there are hiking and cycling trails, so for the active holidaymaker, nothing is lacking.
