Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It is spacious, with a new and fancy bathroom (plus additional toilet), new & well equipped kitchen, large living room, one master bedroom and second bedroom for our kids. The large balcony with a breathtaking view over Cassis, the sea and the whole coast is the apartment’s absolute asset. We spent many hours there, reading, eating, relaxing, talking, playing games. The beach and supermarket are within walking distance, 10-15 minutes, but the way back is steep. We hardly used the extra roof terrace with its 360 degrees view because there weren’t any chairs up there and because the balcony was stunning enough. But it’s there, huge and just for the people of the apartment. The pool is a few minutes walk and small to serve the whole residential complex. The buildings themselves have seen better days, they are rather ugly concrete blocks, one of many in Cassis. The apartment is equipped with French books and comic books and loads of maps and guidebooks, very handy. We can recommend it very much if you love a good view and don’t mind some walking back from the beach.
