Marc was born in Philadelphia, PA, and still lives in the area with his family. He received his bachelor’s degree in Communications and spent the first 15 years of his career working in radio, including an on-air shift at 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia, going to the grand opening concert for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he brushed so close to Bruce Springsteen that he almost tripped him.
Marc loves working in travel and having the opportunity to provide people with exciting, once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Prior to joining smarTours, he worked in tour operations for Gate 1 Travel, taking care of tens of thousands of passengers. smarTours was lucky to have Marc join our team in July 2021, bringing his significant experience on board as we rebuild our operations after the pandemic. He primarily manages relationships with our overseas partners and all operational communications with our customers that set everyone up for a successful trip and excellent experience in destination.
Marc has family living abroad in Prague, and it’s one of his favorite places to visit. Amongst many other memorable experiences there, he once ran into David Hasselhoff in a crystal shop. While he can’t count on running into The Hoff on all his travels, he loves to study history, explore new places, and try new things. Top on his list are visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Great Wall of China, and Bali.
