Marketing Manager – Customer Engagement

While Kristine was born and currently lives in New York City, she spent many of her formative years in Georgia. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing, and also minored in both Spanish and Chinese Language & Literature. Prior to joining the team here at smarTours, Kristine worked in tour operations and customer experience roles.

Kristine joined smarTours in August 2016, putting both her previous marketing experience and her love of travel to use. In her role as Customer Experience Manager at smarTours, Kristine wears many hats. She owns website content development and production, and holds the most historical knowledge about smarTours, from old tours and legacy systems to marketing campaigns, customer reviews, and social media. She’s always able to explain how we got to where we are and is an incredible resource for all of her colleagues. 

Kristine landed at smarTours in part because she loves to travel. At the top of her bucket list is hiking the Inca Trail in Peru. She has fond memories of getting lost bicycling in the countryside of China. In addition to her passion for travel, Kristine has a not so minor obsession with cute animals. When she’s not thinking about travel, she’s dreaming about one day adopting a puppy.
